2019年にリリースされたDARK TRAP「Phonk」のコンピレーション「ICE vol.1」はリリース後、世界のアンダーグラウンドなリスナーから注意深い視線を受けた。その後参加したアーティストはそれぞれの道を歩みヒットメイカーになった者も出た。

当時、すぐにvol.2をリリースする準備は出来ていた。しかし諸事情により今回のリリースまで時を待たねばならなかった。

その間、phonkも新たな局面に到達した。TRAP METALやAlternative Rockは衰退し代わりにアグレッシヴでヘヴィーなサウンドと共に大衆化していったphonkが台頭してきた。

さて今回の「ICE vol.2」ではそれらとはまた違ったさらにアンダーグラウンドなスタイルのphonk、「chillwave」や「trill」といったより繊細な表現にフォーカスしている。（これらはVaporwaveともリンクする様なサウンドだ）。
今回も世界中のアーティストに声をかけ、参加してもらった。

また今回はカセットテープも同時リリースする。vol.1のカセットも同時リリースするのでチェックしてほしい。

After the release of the DARK TRAP "Phonk" compilation "ICE vol.1" released in 2019, it received a lot of attention from underground listeners around the world. After that, some of the artists who participated went their own way and became hit makers.
At that time, I was ready to release vol.2 soon. However, due to various circumstances, I had to wait until this release.

Meanwhile, phonk has reached a new phase. TRAP METAL and Alternative Rock have been declining, and instead, phonk has emerged, which has become popular with aggressive and heavy sounds.

By the way, this "ICE vol.2" focuses on more delicate expressions such as "chillwave" and "trill", which are different underground styles of phonk. (These sounds like they also link to Vaporwave).
This time as well, we invited artists from all over the world to participate.

Also this time, a cassette tape will be released at the same time. The vol.1 cassette will be released at the same time, so please check it out.
